Easy recipe using tomato soup in the sauce. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 cup onion, chopped |
2 garlic cloves, chopped |
2 teaspoons oregano, crushed |
2 (10 ounce) cans tomato soup |
1/2 cup dry white wine |
2 teaspoons wine vinegar |
1/2 lb lasagna noodle |
1 pint ricotta cheese |
1 lb mozzarella cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. Brown beef, add onion, garlic and oregano. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until onion is done. Add soup, wine, and vinegar. Simmer 30 minuites. Stir now and then. 2. Cook noodles according to the package. 3. In a 9x13 baking dish, put a small amount of sauce in the bottom. Arrange 3 alternate layers of noodles, ricotta cheese, meat sauce, and noodles. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. 5. Let stand 15 minutes before serving. |
