Lasagna with lean ground beef and cottage cheese (in place of ricotta) Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef |
1 large onion |
8 oz pasta, whole wheat |
8 oz tomato sauce |
28 oz canned tomatoes |
2 cups 1% cottage cheese |
10 oz spinach |
6 oz mozzarella |
1 tbsp olive oil |
Directions:
1. Follow directions from Betty Crocker's New Cookbook for Italian Sausage Lasagna. Substitue lean ground beef for sausage, and cottage cheese for ricotta. Omit parmesan and cut mozzarella to 6 oz. |
