homemade lasagna Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef, lean |
1 pound ground pork, lean |
16 ounces ricotta cheese |
2 eggs |
1 pound pasta |
64 ounces tomato sauce |
2 pounds mozzarella cheese |
Directions:
1. brown beef & pork allowing it to crumble, drain 2. in a large mixing bowl blend egg & ricotta 3. add meat to cheese mixture, blend well 4. boil lasagna noodles 5. cook sauce, seasoning to taste 6. place a thin layer of sauce on bottom of baking pan 7. cover with a layer of noodles 8. cover noodles with meat mixture 9. add tomato sauce to cover meat layer 10. repeat until pan is full 11. cover with a layer of noodles 12. cover with sauce and a layer of mozzarella 13. bake at 350 for 2 hours |
