Home Made Lasagna Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef |
8 ounce chopped tomatoes, drained |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
8 ounce pasta (9 noodles) |
1 tsp oregano leaves, dried |
16 ounce low fat cottage cheese |
26 ounce spaghetti sauce |
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375º. 2. Brown meat with garlic and oregano in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add Spaghetti Sauce; simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in tomatoes. 3. Build in a 13x9in baking dish. Thin layer (about Â1/2 cup) sauce, 3 noodles, thin layer cottage cheese, thin layer mozzarella cheese then repeat once with layer of sauce, etc. Last Layer: Noodles & Sauce. 4. Cover with foil, bake 30 minutes. 5. Uncover, top with Mozzarella Cheese and bake 5 minutes to melt cheese 6. (if you like it crispy Broil for about 4-5 minutes instead of bake) |
