Everyone likes lasagna - here is a simple recipe for you to try -
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1.5 (19 ounce) cans tomatoes
1 (5 ounce) can tomato paste
9 -10 lasagna noodles
1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms
2 1/2 cups cottage cheese (beat with eggs)
2 eggs
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1 lb mozzarella cheese, shredded
Directions:
1. Brown meat and spoon off fat.
2. Add next 6 ingredients and mushrooms. Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Cook noodles.
4. While noodles and sauce simmer, combine cottage cheese, eggs, parsley and pepper.
5. Place in layers. Meat sauce first, then noodles, meat sauce, cottage cheese mixture, and parmesean. Cover with mozzarella cheese. Bake at 375F for 35 minutes, uncovered.
