delicious Ingredients:
1 pound whole wheat lasagna |
15 ounces part skim ricotta |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese |
2 eggs |
3 cups mozzarella cheese |
4 cups tomato sauce |
8 ounces ground beef |
Directions:
1. Brown the ground beef and add to tomato sauce (or you can use leftover spaghetti sauce with meat.) Soak the lasagna noodles in warm water for about 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 350. Combine ricotta, parmesan cheese, eggs and 1 cup mozzarella - mix well. Spread 1/2 cup pasta sauce on bottom of 13x9 (or larger) pan. Layer with lasagna, ricotta mixture, pasta sauce and mozzarella. Cover - bake for one hour. Uncover and let stand for 15 minutes before serving. |
