My brother used to work on a dude ranch and this is what they feed the guests for breakfast. It is an easy, yummy recipe. Use real buttermilk as the substitutions just aren't the same.
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups buttermilk
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups flour
1 pinch salt
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in mixing bowl and stir to combine.
2. Bake in pre-heated waffle iron.
