YUMMY ZESTY HEALTHY BEANS FOR A CROWD! Ingredients:
lanas country style baked beans |
1 can kidney beans |
1 can pinto beans |
1 can butter beans |
1 can pork & beans |
1/4 c. bar b cue sauce |
1/4 c. ketchup |
6 slices bacon |
1 c. chopped ham |
2 sm. onions, chopped |
1/2 c. dark brown sugar (packed) |
1/4 cup syrup or molasses |
1 c. catsup |
2 tbls. prepared mustard |
if you like.. 'hot' don't forget to add the 'hot |
Directions:
1. ================================================== 2. Drain kidney,pinto, pork n, and butter beans. Mix well. 3. Fry bacon, but don't brown it too crisp. (reserve a good 4. tablespoon of the bacon drippings for flavor). 5. Put beans, bacon and onions in casserole. Add sugars, syrup, 6. catsup,sauce, reserved drippings, and mustard. 7. Mix well and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. |
