Nothing says classic family dinner like a plate piled high with warm apples and a lamb chop. Slice the apples while the chops cook. Ingredients:
cooking spray |
8 (4-ounce) lamb loin chops, trimmed |
1 teaspoon butter |
2 cups sliced braeburn apple (about 2 medium) |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 tablespoon water |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves |
Directions:
1. Heat a large skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Add lamb; cook 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Remove lamb from pan; keep warm. 2. Add butter to pan, scraping pan to loosen browned bits. Add apple; sauté 5 minutes. Add brown sugar, water, salt, cinnamon, and cloves; cook 2 minutes or until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly. Serve with lamb. |
