Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups fresh lady peas |
2 cups water |
1/4 pound salt pork, cut into 1/2-inch cubes |
salt to taste |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover, and simmer 30 minutes or until peas are tender. Add more water, if needed, to keep peas from sticking to the pan. |
