All kids, young and old alike, love this sweet, crispy treat. Ingredients:
6 cups crisp rice cereal |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup light corn syrup |
1 cup crunchy peanut butter |
6 ounces milk chocolate chips |
6 ounces butterscotch chips |
Directions:
1. Place cereal in large bowl. 2. Mix sugar and corn syrup in saucepan; bring to a boil. 3. Cook, stirring frequently, until sugar is melted; remove from heat. 4. Add peanut butter; blend thoroughly. 5. Pour over cereal; mix well. 6. Pour into greased 9x13-inch baking pan and spread evenly. 7. Melt chips in saucepan; mix well. 8. Spread on top. 9. Chill and then cut into squares. |
