Adding a bit to Classico's Tomato and Basil Ingredients:
1/2 pound ground beef |
4 cloves garlic, chopped |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 bell pepper, minced |
1 lb pasta, whole wheat |
32 oz tomato & basil |
1 tsp olive oil |
1 tsp salt |
2 tsp cayenne pepper |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef in skillet over medium heat stirring constantly. 2. Drain fat and set aside. 3. Heat second skillet to medium 4. Heat oil in skillet 5. Add Onion and saute until translucent. 6. Add bell pepper and garlic for about a minute, stirring constantly. 7. Stir in ground beef for about a minute. 8. Pour Tomato Sauce over beef / vegetable mixture and bring to simmer. 9. Cook pasta to al dente and drain. 10. Serve sauce over pasta. |
