This is a very unusual combination but it is delicious. I've been making this for at least 35 years. Even several of my grandkids love it. Be sure to butter the buns. Ingredients:
2 cups sauerkraut (drained) |
6 1/2 ounces canned tuna, drained |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 cup green pepper, diced |
2 tablespoons onions, chopped |
3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish |
1/4 teaspoon celery salt |
6 hamburger buns, split and buttered |
Directions:
1. Combine kraut, tuna, mayonnaise green pepper, onion, relish and celery salt. Mix well and chill. Fill hamberger buns with kraut-tuna salad. |
