My husband loves kosher salt, so I made a homemade seasoning salt with it for him. I use it whenever called for in a recipe, tastes just like the kind I buy at the store. Ingredients:
7 tablespoons kosher salt |
2 teaspoons paprika |
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves |
1 teaspoon dried parsley |
1 teaspoon dry mustard powder |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1/4 teaspoon curry powder |
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed |
Directions:
1. Pour the salt into a small mixing bowl. Whisk in the paprika, thyme, parsley, mustard powder, garlic powder, chili powder, curry powder, cumin, and dill until evenly blended. Store in a tightly sealed shaker jar. |
