This is a potato side dish using Korean techniques. It is both familiar and comforting yet spicy and exotic. Ingredients:
2 potatoes, peeled and cut |
onion, sliced |
1 tbsp gochujang (korean red pepper paste) |
1 tsp gochugaru (korean red chile powder) |
2 cloves of garlic, crushed |
1 tsp soy sauce |
1 tsp sugar |
1 tsp corn syrup |
sesame seeds for garnish |
Directions:
1. Stir fry the potatoes and onions in oil 2. Add the gochujang, gochugaru, garlic, soy sauce, sugar, corn syrup, and a little water. 3. Cover and turn down the heat. 4. Cook until the potatoes are tender. 5. Serve with sesame seeds as garnish. Can be served hot or chilled. |
