Korean Spicy Cucumber Salad |

This is a traditional Korean side dish served in many restaurants. It's very fast, simple and tasty. Great to serve with any meal. Ingredients:
1 english cucumber |
1 green onion/chives |
1/2 tbsp minced garlic |
1 tbsp red chilli flakes (korean) |
3 tbsp sea salt (or any coarse/kosher salt) |
to taste sesame oil |
1/8 tbsp sesame seed |
1 tbsp sugar |
1 tbsp vinegar |
Directions:
1. Slice Cucumbers thin and sprinkle with Sea Salt. Let sit for 10 minute. 2. Mince garlic, chop green onion and mix with Red Chilli Flakes, Sugar and Vinegar. 3. Rinse cucumber and squeeze cucumbers with dry towel. It should be slightly salty. Combine with sauce and add Sesame Oil to taste. 4. Garnish with Sesame Seed. |
