We love this marinade on Kalbi . Try it for an Asian twist. Ingredients:
1/2 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce |
2 tablespoons water |
1 1/2 tablespoons raw or turbinado sugar |
1 tablepsoon minced garlic |
1 teaspoon asian sesame oil |
1 teaspoon grated peeled fresh ginger |
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
1/2 cup chopped scallions |
Directions:
1. Whisk 1/2 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce, 2 tablespoons water, 1 1/2 tablespoons raw or turbinado sugar, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 1 teaspoon Asian sesame oil, 1 teaspoon grated peeled fresh ginger, and 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper in a medium bowl. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped scallions. DO AHEAD: Cover and chill up to 1 day. |
