2 1/2 cups grated pumpkin pulp, strained |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
4 eggs |
2 tablespoons minced garlic |
2 tablespoons minced parsley |
1 tablespoon ground cumin |
2 cups breadcrumbs |
salt and pepper |
2 cups flour |
1 cup vegetable oil (for frying) |
sesame seeds, sauce (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except flour, oil, and Sesame Seed Sauce; blend well. 2. Shape into 2-inch patties, and roll in flour. 3. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. 4. Serve warm accompanied by Sesame Seed Sauce (optional). |
