Calling all Cooks was the show which I like very much. My strawberry raspberry jam was good in these too. Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened |
6 ounces cream cheese, softened |
2 cups flour |
1 (12 ounce) can solo poppy seed filling |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, blend butter and cream cheese together. 2. Add flour; you must mix by hand. 3. When mixed, wrap dough and put in fridge overnight. 4. Next day, take out 1/2 of the dough. 5. Roll out on a floured board to 1/4 inch thickness. 6. Put a little filling in the center and pinch edges together. 7. Repeat with remaining 1/2 of the dough. 8. Bake in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 10 minutes. 9. Check bottoms of cookies; they brown first. Tops may not look done but they are. |
