This is pretty simple - you can make it with mutton, beef or chicken. Ingredients:
1 kg minced mutton or 1 kg minced beef or 1 kg minced chicken |

2 inches ginger, sliced fine |
3 green chilies, chopped |
1 teaspoon red chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |

4 -5 garlic cloves |
1 inch ginger |
1 teaspoon red chili powder |
1 teaspoon turmeric powder |
1 teaspoon garam masala |
1 cup boiled tomato puree |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons fresh coriander leaves, chopped |
Directions:
1. For Koftas:. 2. Combine minced meat with all kofta ingredients. 3. Shape into balls. 4. shallow fry till golden brown. 5. put aside. 6. for Curry:. 7. fry onions in a little oil, add ginger and garlic and fry together till golden brown. 8. Add remaining Curry ingredients with enough water to make a gravy. 9. Bring to a boil, add koftas and simmer for about 40-50 minutes. 10. garnish with coriander and serve hot with naan bread or pitas or chapati. |
