This is a hearty soup... all you need is some crusty bread or corn bread to make a yummy meal. Ingredients:
2 cans condensed bean soup (11 1/2 oz size) |
1 can tomatoes (16 oz) |
1 package southern-style hash browns |
2 cups water |
1 cup sliced carrots |
1 cup sliced celery |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 smoked sausage, cut into small slices (12 oz) |
Directions:
1. Stir together soups, tomatoes, potatoes, and water in dutch oven. 2. Add carrots, celery, chili powder, and salt. 3. Cover and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. 4. Stirring occasionally. 5. Add sausage and continue cooking slowly for 40 to 45 minutes or until veggies are tender. 6. Stir occasionally. |
