A little like strawberry jam, mellow in flavour. Ingredients:
1 kg kiwifruit |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 cup orange juice |
3 cups sugar |
Directions:
1. Place kiwifruit, orange juice and water into a large pot. Boil until kiwifruit is soft and pulpy (mash for a finer textured jam). 2. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. 3. Boil briskly for 30 minutes or until setting point is reached. Pour into sterilised jars and refridgerate. 4. Makes about 900g-1kg of jam - calorie count recipe analyzer seems to expect double this amount - when you enter this on your foodlog you need to DOUBLE the SERVING size, for the correct calories to show. |
