I only make these for the kids. I'm pretty sure just one would kill me instantly! Ingredients:
1 cup butter or margarine softened |
1 cup peanut butter |
1 cup sugar |
2/3 cup packed brown sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 cup old-fashioned oats (you can replace this with flaked coconut) |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2/3 cup of each |
milk chocolate chips |
semisweet chocolate chips |
white chocolate chips |
peanut butter chips |
butterscotch chips |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. 3. Combine flour, oats (coconut), baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, gradually adding to the creamed mixture and beating in. Then stir in the chips. 4. Drop by rounded tablespoons (about two inches apart) on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for one minute (I've found two is better) on baking sheet before moving them to cooling racks. |
