Well worth the effort. Ingredients:
2 cans(6oz each) crabmeat, drained, flaked, cartilage removed |
3 green onions, chopped |
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheese |
2 tsp. worcestershire sauce |
1 tsp ground mustard |
1 cup water |
1/2 cup butter,cubed |
1/4 tsp. salt |
1 cup flour |
4 eggs |
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, combine the crab, onions, cheese, Worcestershire sauce and mustard; set aside. 2. In a large saucepan, bring water, butter and salt to a boil. Add flour all at once and stir until smooth ball forms. Remove from heat; let stand 5 min. 3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after addition. Continue beating until mixture is smooth and shiny. Stir in crab. 4. Drop by tablespoons full 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. 5. Bake at 400ยบ F for 20-25 min.or until golden. Remove to wire racks. Serve warm |
