Kimberly Dawn's Lentils

A delicious soup, perfect for a winter!
Ingredients:
16 ounces dried lentils
48 ounces chicken broth
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons chicken bouillon (better than bullion)
5 stalks celery (chopped)
3 -4 carrots (chopped)
1 onion (chopped)
3 garlic cloves (minced)
Directions:
1. saute onion celery and garlic.
2. Rinse lentils several times.
3. Boil lentils in chicken broth and water. Add 2 T. Better than Bullion and 2 T tomato paste.
4. Add sauted vegetables and carrots, salt and pepper. Simmer 1 hour.
5. Enjoy!
