A recipe for a Pakistani Dish I found in one of my old ground meat cookbooks. It's pretty good. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 cup chopped onion |
2 raw potatoes, peeled and cubed |
2 teaspoons curry |
1 dash pepper |
2 tomatoes, peeled and cubed |
1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
hot cooked rice |
flaked coconut |
Directions:
1. In skillet cook beef, onion, and garlic till meat is browned; pour off fat. 2. Stir in remaining ingredients except coconut and rice. 3. Cover; simmer 20-25 minutes or until vegetables are tender. 4. Sprinkle with coconut. 5. Serve with hot cooked rice. |
