This is a quick and different kind of cold shrimp cocktail with a unique taste Ingredients:
any amount of peeled raw shrimp any size |
1/4 cup lemon pepper |
1 cup mayonaise |
3 teaspoons vietnamese chili garlic paste |
1/2 finely minced scallion |
handful finely minced cilantro leaves |
freshly squeezed lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Peel and devein shrimp 2. Toss shrimp with copious amount of lemon pepper 3. Let rest covered approximately one hour 4. Sear quickly in hot oil/butter mixture until just cooked 5. Rinse shrimp under cold water to remove spices and chill 6. Drain on paper towel 7. Make dipping sauce by adding mayonaise, chili paste, scallion, cilantro and lemon juice |
