This bread is the best I've come across so far, that's what everyone tells me when I fix it for company also. My family loves it. Ingredients:
1 10 round loaf of sour dough bread |
1 cup mayonnaise |
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese (can use already prepared) |
1 tablespoon basil, dried |
1 teaspoon oregano, dried |
1 tablespoon minced onion, dried |
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley |
3 teaspoons cajun seasoning |
2-3 tablespoons minced garlic |
Directions:
1. Slice the loaf in half horizontally 2. Butter cut sides of the bread and toast under the broiler till lightly browned 3. Mix the remaining ingredients and spread over the both halves, using the entire mixture. 4. Bake at 400* for 15 min. or until top is brown and puffed. 5. Cut into wedges and serve hot. 6. You can eat this as a meal along with a salad. 7. ENJOY :) |
