The name says it all! Ingredients:
1 cup real mayonnaise |
1 cup freshlly grated parmesan cheese |
2 tbsp. fresh basil chopped (2 tsp. dried) |
2 minced green onions |
1 1/2 tsp. minced garlic (or to taste) |
1 lb. loaf round sourdough bread, halved horizontally |
butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat broiler. Mix mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, green onion and garlic; set aside. 2. Arrange bread, cut side up on cookie sheet. Butter bread. Broil until crisp and brown. 3. Spread Parmesan mixture over cut sides of bread. 4. Broil until top is puffed and golden brown. Sprinkle with basil. 5. Cut into wedges and serve. |
