Made by my Filipina wife, delicious. Ingredients:
500 g kingfish |
6 shallots |
1 small brown onion |
250 ml white vinegar |
2 tablespoons ginger |
2 green chilies |
1 tablespoon salt |
1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Cut the fish into 2cm cubes. 2. Thinly slice the shallots. 3. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours. 4. Chop the onion finely. 5. Transfer to a Kilawin to a serving bowl and garnish with the chopped onion. 6. Serve cold. |
