Kielbasa Sausage With Caraway Sauerkraut |

A simple and quick one-dish meal. Sometimes I cook this in the crockpot on low for about 6 hours. Ingredients:
1 large onion, chopped |
16 ounces sauerkraut |
1 cup dry white wine |
2 bay leaves |
1/2 teaspoon caraway seed |
pepper |
1 lb kielbasa, sliced diagonally |
Directions:
1. Combine onion, sauerkraut, wine, bay leaves, caraway seeds and pepper in heavy large saucepan. 2. Cover and simmer mixture for 30 minutes. 3. Add sausage and simmer 20 minutes. 4. Discard bay leaves and serve. |
