When my children and my neice sit down for a spaghetti dinner sometimes they want something a little less spicy and a little more sweet. This sauce is just that and very kid friendly. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
30 ounces tomato sauce |
7 ounces canned mushrooms |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 teaspoons dried onion |
2 teaspoons brown sugar |
cooked spaghetti |
Directions:
1. Brown lean ground beef in olive oil (drain fat if there is alot). 2. Add tomato sauce, mushrooms, spices, onion and sugar. 3. Stir and simmer for about 20 minutes. 4. Serve over cooked spaghetti. |
