I love hot chocolate with cinnamon schnapps. This is an adaptation of the Favorite Hot Chocolate recipe by Hershey's. Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar |
1/4 cup cocoa powder |
1/3 cup hot water |
4 cups milk |
3/4 teaspoon vanilla |
1 pinch salt |
4 ounces cinnamon schnapps |
whipped cream |
cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in saucepan.
2. Stir in water.
3. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils.
4. Boil and stir 2 minutes.
5. Stir in milk and heat, do not boil.
6. Remove from heat, add vanilla.
7. Pour into mugs.
8. Add a shot of schnapps.
9. Top off with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
