This crunchy, sweet and zesty alternative to cabbage slaw tastes best when refrigerated for a few hours before serving but I usually can't wait that long to eat it! Ingredients:
slaw |
1/3 bag of broccoli slaw |
1/8 cup each yellow and red bell pepper, chopped |
dressing |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
2 cloves garlic, mashed |
juice of 1/2 lime |
2 tbsp sweet pickle juice |
creole seasoning to taste |
1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper |
dash of sea salt |
Directions:
1. Combine first two ingredients in a bowl. 2. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over slaw. Mix well. 3. If you have the patience, refrigerate a few hours before serving! |
