This is a copycat recipe for KFC's honey bbq wings. Ingredients:
20 chicken wings, tips removed |
2 c flour |
2 eggs |
2/3 c milk |
1 bottle kc masterpiece original bbq sauce |
1/4 c honey |
oil for deep frying |
Directions:
1. Wash chicken wings and remove tips 2. Shake off excess water 3. Place eggs and milk in a bowl and mix well- set aside 4. Mix BBQ sauce and honey-set aside 5. Put flour in bag and toss wings to lightly coat 6. Roll wings in egg wash and toss back in flour 7. Repeat 2-3 times to create a heavy coating 8. Heat oil to 350 degrees F 9. Fry wings until golden brown. Drain on paper towels 10. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F 11. Dip wings in honey bbq mixture and place on a greased cookie sheet. Do not allow wings to touch each other 12. Bake 15-20 minutes until they no longer look shiny |
