Key Lime Shrimp With Guacamole |

Tasty and quick to fix appetizer your guest will love. Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds cooked large shrimp. |
1/4 teaspoon grated lime peel |
1/4 cup key lime juice |
1/4 cup white wine |
1/2 cup ketchup |
4 drops hot pepper sauce, your favorite or, tabasco |
guacamole |
2 large avocados |
3 tablespoons key lime juice or lemon juice |
1 teaspoon salt |
several drops hot pepper sauce, or to taste |
Directions:
1. Place shrimp in a bowl. 2. Add lime peel, lime juice, wine, ketchup, and hot sauce. 3. Mix together and pour over shrimp. Toss to coat. 4. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours. 5. For the guacamole, peel avocados and remove pits. 6. Scoop out insides. 7. Mash with a fork until almost smooth. 8. Stir in lime juice, salt, and hot sauce. 9. Drain shrimp and arrange around guacamole on a platter. 10. Serve with hot sauce and tortilla chips. |
