This is a no cholesterol cake. Ingredients:
1 box lemon cake mix |
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant lemon pudding |
1 cup egg substitute |
1 cup applesauce |
3/4 cup water |
1/4 cup key lime juice |
1 cup powdered sugar |
1 tablespoon water |
1/4 cup key lime juice |
Directions:
1. For the cake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare a 10 bundt pan with non stick cooking spray. 2. For the cake, combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. 3. Beat at meedium speed for 2 minutes. 4. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes (toothpick should come out clean). 5. Cool in pan for 25 minutes. 6. Poke hole into top of cake with a long tined fork. 7. For the glaze: Combine all glaze ingredients and mix well with whisk. 8. Pour over warm cake. 9. Cool completely. 10. Invert onto serving plate and dust with powdered sugar. |
