Another one of my grandmothers Mimi recipes. Ingredients:
1 cup white corn syrup |
1 cup dark brown sugar, packed |
1/3 teaspoon salt |
1/3 cup butter, melted |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
3 eggs, lightly beaten |
1 cup pecans, heaping |
1 unbaked pie shell |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except for the nuts. 2. Pour into the pie shell and sprinkle the nuts on top. 3. Bake for 45 minutes in a 350 degree farenheit oven. |
