To serve warm or cold over ice cream or cake. Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. brown sugar (firmly packed) |
1 c. cream |
1/2 c. butter |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1/2 c. candied fruit (optional) |
1 c. pecans |
Directions:
1. Stir together the brown sugar, 1/2 cup of cream, butter, and salt. 2. Cook stirring often until mixture forms soft ball. 3. Cool for 5 minutes. 4. Stir in rest of cream and the fruits and nuts. 5. Serve warm or cold over ice cream or cake. |
