My DD makes these fresh delightfully yummy croutons for soups, salads or just for snacks. Add your favorite bread and spices and change it up. Enjoy. Ingredients:
3 slices bread (your favorite) |
1/3 cup olive oil |
1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika |
salt |
pepper |
1 teaspoon chives (fresh) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Slice bread into 1/2 cubes. 3. In a bowl toss bread cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper and sweet paprika. 4. Line a flat pan with parchment paper and place coated cubes in a single layer. 5. Bake for 14-16 minutes, mix up half way through cooking time. 6. Sprinkle fresh chives on croutons and toss. 7. Makes about 1 cup's worth. 8. Enjoy. |
