Simple to make. Serve with a spicy Moroccan tomato sauce. Ingredients:
1 bunch fresh mint, finely chopped |
1 lb ground beef |
1 tablespoon thyme |
1 tablespoon oregano |
1 onion, finely chopped |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/4 teaspoon harissa or 1/4 teaspoon hot chili sauce |
salt |
Directions:
1. Clean and finely chop the mint. 2. Mix all the ingredients really thoroughly in a big bowl. 3. Form meatballs with your hands, not too big! 4. Either cook these keftas in a pan with a little olive oil for 10 mintes, or thread them on skewers and grill them on the BBQ for 5 minutes or so. |
