This has been made often by Katy and everytime it is a favorite. Ingredients:
1 (26 ounce) bottle favorite spaghetti sauce (i like traditional) |
1/2 lb hamburger, browned (can substitute sausage) |
1 quart cottage cheese |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese |
1 (8 ounce) box lasagna noodles |
2 eggs, uncooked |
1 cup favorite cheese |
onion (optional) |
spices (optional) |
Directions:
1. Spread a thin layer of sauce on bottom of 9 x11 oven pan. 2. Put down a layer of noodles sorta over lapping. 3. Mix beaten eggs, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, and spices. 4. Spices I like: 1/4 tsp each parsley, basil and oregano. 5. Set down another layer of noodles. 6. Mix remainder of sauce with cooked ground beef. 7. (If you want onion fry with hamburger). 8. Pour meat mixture over noodles. 9. Cover with tin foil bake 350 for 50-60 minute. 10. Uncover and sprinkle with favorite cheese. 11. Bake uncovered additional 5-10 minute. 12. Let sit for 10 min before eating. |
