These are great to serve at Christmas, or anytime. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
2 eggs |
1 cup vegetable oil |
1 cup powdered sugar |
1 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon cream of tartar |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
4 cups flour |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugars together. Add eggs and oil. Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture. Mix until dough forms. Refrigerate until cool. 2. Roll a teaspoon of dough into a ball and drop into sugar, roll to cover. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and press down with a small glass. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. |
