Katherine Hepburn was a living legend and one of my favorite actresses. Ingredients:
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate |
1/4 lb unsalted butter |
1 c granulated sugar |
2 lg eggs |
1/2 ts vanilla extract |
1/4 c all-purpose flour |
1/4 ts salt |
1 c walnuts -- chopped |
Directions:
1. Melt the chocolate and the butter together in a pot. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beating thoroughly. Stir in the flour, salt and walnuts.
2. Pour into a greased 8 x8 metal baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 40 minutes. Remove pan to a rack to cool. Cut into 12 squares.
