Kates Mashed Potatoes

Everyone who tries them craves to know how i make em. so thought i would share!
Ingredients:
russet (brown)potatoes peeled. (figure one potatoe for each person plus i add an extra for every 4. so family of 4 i would do 5 tc.
cream cheese
milk (skim)
butter
salt
pepper
garlic salt
1 c. chedder cheese
Directions:
1. boil potatoes normal until they are soft and strain. put in bowl. get the mixer out!
2. add about 1/2 c. milk
3. 1/4 c. Cream cheese
4. 3 tbsp butter
5. garlic salt to taste and slt and pepper
6. Blend all together on speed 4-5 or medium until creamy. taste to see if you want to add more or less cr. cheese.
7. after donw i sprinkle with the chedder cheese on top and let sit orcan throw in micro until melted.
8. i am a throw together kinda cook (3 kids) so use the ingredients to taste i just guessed on how much of each thing i used!
