This is my Gluten Free, Wheat Free, Egg Free Breakfast skillet. Substitute cheddar for goats cheese/soy cheese for a Lactose free recipe. I make a skillet every Sunday night to feed me breakfast for the week. Ingredients:
1 green pepper, finely diced |
1 red pepper, finely diced |
4 cups of shredded potatoes |
1 cup of shredded light cheddar cheese |
12 turkey breakfast sausage |
4 green onions, chopped |
seasoning salt |
black pepper |
chili powder |
cumin |
Directions:
1. Slice Sausages into bite sized pieces and fry in pan over medium heat until cooked. 2. Remove Sausages from pan and put peppers and potatoes inches Cook till browned. 3. Throw sausages back in and mix up. 4. Season to taste with seasonings list above. 5. Spread cheddar over entire skillet and cover with a lid. 6. Once the cheese is melted sprinkle green onion over skillet and remove from heat. |
