Adapted from Woman's Day Encyclopedia of Cookery. Ingredients:
8 ounces emmenthaler cheese, cut in 1/2-inch cubes (or swiss or gruyere) |
6 hardboiled egg, coarsely chopped |
3/4 cup sour cream |
1 1/2 teaspoons dijon mustard |
1/2 teaspoon dried mustard |
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish |
salt |
pepper |
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest |
1 teaspoon caraway seed |
greens, for serving (lettuce, spinach, etc.) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except greens and mix well. 2. Serve on a bed of greens. |
