This is a recipe I have been making for years. It tastes spicy but nothing spicy is put into it. Very refreshing and light on a hot day. Ingredients:
2 cucumbers skinned and course grated. |
1 onion course grated |
1/2 tsp pepper (or more to taste) |
note: a friend serves this with chopped garden fresh tomatoes put in just before serving. |
Directions:
1. course grate onion and cucumbers into a bowl. 2. stir in pepper and serve or fridge until ready too serve. |
