KANTEN This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Fisher Estate in Rockwall, Texas in 1980. Ingredients:
5 oranges cut in half with fruit carefully removed |
9 ounces orange gelatin |
4 ounces unflavored gelatin |
4 cups boiling water |
Directions:
1. Dissolve gelatins in boiling water in a shallow rectangular pan. 2. Add orange segments which have been seeded to gelatin making sure to distribute evenly. 3. Refrigerate for two hours. 4. While gelatin is setting wash and pat dry empty orange halves. 5. When gelatin is firmly set remove and cut into 1 squares. 6. Arrange in empty orange shells. |
