From the kitchen of Wanda Cupp Thornburg, Moberly MO. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups cornmeal |
3 teaspoons baking powder |
2 eggs |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
2 cups milk |
2 tablespoons melted fat |
Directions:
1. Sift dry ingredients and add the milk. Beat the fat with eggs until light. Add to batter and mix well. Pour into a very hot, well-buttered pan. 2. Bake 40 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees. |
